SUNDAY SERVICE
The Sunday Service is our regular time to get together as a church. We meet in the Baptist Church, Victoria Square, Kirkby Stephen at 10:30 am on a Sunday. If you come along you can expect to hear a 20-30min talk focusing on a passage from scripture, sing a few songs, prayers led from the front and a reading from the Bible.
The Sunday Service usually lasts about an hour. On the first Sunday of the month we have a time called “Communion” this is when Christians celebrate what Jesus has done for them. You will not be expected to take part and the person leading the service will explain what it means and what happens.
If you have youngsters, don’t worry if they make some noise, that’s to be expected. However, if you feel uncomfortable there is space out the back from them to roll around or they could go out to Junior Church with our dedicated team of volunteers. At the end of the service, we will invite you to stay for refreshments (tea or coffee and a biscuit) so that we can get to know you better
During the Pandemic we have met each week Via Zoom. We are now back in the church premises but will also be including the Zoom for those unable or not ready to meet face to face.
